ETHDenver Recap
With the generous support from our community and friends, Panvala was able to host a day-long conversation about BUIDLing for Inclusion in Web3 at ETHDenver this year! The event was truly an incredible success, and we thank all of those who attended and participated in this day of inspiration, innovation, and conversation. Couldn’t make it to ETHDenver this year? We’ve got you covered! Panvala Fellow, Kelly Page, has compiled video recordings of Panvala’s panels and fireside chats from the event—click on the event titles below or check out the full playlist here!
With both new and familiar faces in the room, it was wonderful to see a community form around Panvala IRL to tackle some of Web3’s most imperative questions about building for inclusion. Here is what people had to say about the event:
“While attending ETHDenver 2022, I enjoyed getting to learn about how Panvala is helping the Web3 space--it is wonderful to see how so many different organizations within Panvala are working on innovative ways to make the world a better place using blockchain technology. What stood out most were the people--I felt very included and welcomed to be a part of each of these panel discussions as an audience member.”
– Joseph Distefano
“Participating in the Meta Gamma Delta (MGD) panel was the highlight of my ETHDenver experience! I am super grateful to Panvala for helping us coordinate such an important conversation around onboarding women to Web 3. The room was packed, and we still have people joining our Discord saying that the talk is what inspired them to join MGD."
- Zayi Reyes
“It was great to see so many people from across Panvala's communities together in person at ETHDenver and hear them speak about what means the most to you all in each of your communities. We're looking forward to creating more opportunities to gather and strengthen our cooperation that can drive more resources to all of our communities!”

Community Powered by Panvala
We are also thrilled to announce that Avano (formerly known as Akorn DAO) used the Panvala Activities Fund Grant to directly support community events taking place at ETHDenver!
Avano sponsored and participated in the IRL Art event focused on using the power of NFTs for social good. Held at the Denver Art Museum, Avano gave a kickoff speech for the event discussing how NFTs could be used for environmental action.
They also supported speaker costs for DAODenver covering topics such as “What DAOs Don't Do”, and introducing the regenerative finance movement to attendees.
Finally, Avano sponsored the event “Regenerate: Learn, Build & Cowork,” — providing an opportunity for the regenerative finance community to come together and connect with one another. With around 270 attendees, these workshops and discussions invited people newer to the space to get more involved in this meaningful work. Shout out to Avano!
Coming Soon: Collective Action Passport
Introducing Panvala’s Collective Action Passport! Our newest project will reward community engagement through a gamified experience using Panvala Stamps.
Panvala Stamps are an NFT marketing program that helps businesses reach potential customers through greater engagement than traditional ads. The Stamps serve as a mechanism for moving value from marketing budgets directly into community growth.
Communities within the Panvala League can issue unique Stamps to members that will be collected in the Collective Action Passport. When a member collects and redeems Stamps, their community earns funding from the sponsor running the campaign. Stamps are a way to mobilize entire communities in order to raise campaign awareness.
The closest example from the analog world is the “Box Tops for Education” program. In this program General Mills incentivizes parents to buy their brand of cereal by offering school funding. Parents buy General Mills cereal, keep the tops of the cereal boxes, and take them to their kids’ school to redeem them for funding. Panvala Stamps generalizes this same model as a digital advertising network for the benefit of all communities and all businesses (not only schools).
