GOVRN
Govrn recently launched a new stamp campaign with Panvala. If you aren’t familiar with Govrn, it is a contribution management tool that provides a way for DAO contributors to easily record (and categorize) their contributions, manage them, and even mint them on-chain (allowing true ownership of one’s own work). This helps to reduce the chaos in DAOs, as well as improving accountability.
If you've contributed to any organization that considers itself a DAO, use Govrn to mint each of your contributions on chain. The first contributor from each active DAO to mint their contributions earns a stamp. DAOs whitelisted by the Govrn team can send up to ten contributors to earn stamps.
Each individual can earn one stamp, and each community can earn up to $100 or 20 stamps. If you contribute to more than one DAO decide which community you would like Govrn to fund, and then encourage other people who contribute to that DAO to mint their contributions as well.
To learn how to mint a contribution on Govrn, go to https://mirror.xyz/govrnhq.eth/YCmZSvwxk7gWy1FJfSkJbZRnEojPPe70IZgsWX316Tk
Once you have minted your contribution, go to panvala.com/stamps to fill out the claim form. In the form, paste the etherscan link to your minted contribution on Govrn, and submit.
Here is a great video demo that Aaron Soskin from Govrn put together as well.
Panvala City Stamps
A few weeks ago Panvala launched its first city stamp in Austin in collaboration with ATX DAO. City stamps work differently than the sponsored stamps created for the Web3 and Giveth chapters. Instead of collecting stamps through doing small actions or making purchases, you can earn a city stamp when you give to a cause or organization in your community that you care about.
The city stamp was created to encourage the act of collective giving on a local level. They help keep the resources from your city in your city’s communities. In Austin, three nonprofits have been whitelisted to receive the funds the participants raised together. Each quarter a new stamp is created to encourage the act of giving on a recurring basis.
We are in the process of coordinating city stamps in Oakland, Boulder and Denver, and we are using the Austin City stamp as the format to follow in other cities across North America. With each new city stamp that is created we add another chapter to Panvala’s growing network.
Giveth Chapter
For those of you haven’t every discord message or tweet from Panvala, Giveth became Panvala’s first network chapter in January 2023. This was a huge milestone in our mission to empower collective action at the grassroots. We added 200+ communities to Panvala’s network through this collaboration with Giveth giving those communities yet another opportunity to provide resources for their projects. Panvala won’t stop until ALL the communities you care about have the resources they need to create value!
